Rachel came to the Honors College in the Fall of 2008 from Melbourne High School (Melbourne, FL). She is interested in Environmental Studies with plans to join the Peace Corps after graduation. She enjoys taking advantage of the variety of opportunities at the Honors College. She teaches English to migrant workers at El Sol Labor Center, is the president of the Math Club, and serves as an Honors College Ambassador. One particularly memorable experience for Rachel was planning the 2009 Homecoming service project for the campus. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports and finding new outlets for her creative energy. “What I love most about the Honors College are the people. Everyone is so vibrant and ambitious.” |
