Family Day 2006
Saturday, April 1st, will be the 2nd Annual Family Day! This is a time for the families of our Honors College Students to come to campus and spend a day with us to experience what the Jupiter campus has to offer. This year, we are inviting each member of the Honors College Faculty and Staff to participate. So, bring your families and join the fun!
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Family Portraits being taken in the Housing Courtyard. We will then play fun games including Bingo and Pictionary in the Dining Hall. At 11:30 a.m. we will go to the Pool and have a BBQ lunch. The lunch will be orchestrated by Chartwells allowing students to utilize their meal plan for their meal, and the family members can purchase meals at $6.00 per person (children under 5 eat free!). There will be music, basketball, and sand volleyball available for all interested!
Later that afternoon, we will have Field Games pitting Family against Family, as well as Families against our students. Following a rousing game of kickball, the day will end with snacks, sodas, and sno-cones in the Housing Courtyard. At this time, the family portraits will be distributed to the families and participating students.
