Honors College professor takes helm of composition journal

Dr. Christian Weisser, Associate Professor of Composition and Rhetoric at the Wilkes Honors College, takes charge of the journal Composition Forum starting in the Fall of 2005. Under his guidance, the journal will convert from a print-based to an online format. James Capp, a student at the Honors College, will serve as Editorial Assistant for the journal.  James, a junior, is currently designing his own concentration in writing and rhetoric, and plans to pursue a graduate degree in rhetoric and composition after graduating from the Honors College.
Composition Forum
is a journal for scholars and teachers interested in the application of composition theory to the teaching of writing. The journal features articles that explore the intersections of composition theory and pedagogy. For further information see the journal's website, http://www.fau.edu/compositionforum/index.html

Dr. Weisser received his Ph.D. from the University of South Florida and has authored or edited three books on eco-composition and composition studies.
