Megan, who attended Indian River High School, majored in Environmental Science at the Honors College and completed her thesis on the role of zoos in the future of biodiversity conservation. She received a Masters of Environmental Science at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. She is now working on a Ph.D. in Environmental Management, Conservation and Development at the University of Aukland in New Zealand and is currently researching gibbon conservation efforts in West Java, Indonesia.
