How to become a member of the Southeast Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (SEACSM)

Membership in SEACSM is for the calendar year (January through December). SEACSM does not prorate its dues. It will cost a Professional(ACSM member)=$35/year, Professional (Non ACSM member)= $45, Professional-in-Training=$15/year, or a Student=$15/year. You can join the SEACSM chapter without being a National member. The procedure is very simple. Print the Membership form found on this page, fill in the required information and include your check Payable to SEACSM.

There are three SEACSM Membership Classifications:
• Professional: Shall have earned a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree at an accredited institution in a field related to health, physical education or exercise science; or, shall have earned at least a bachelor's degree in another area, but be working in a field related to sports medicine or exercise science.

• Professional-in-Training: Shall have earned a terminal degree at an accredited institution in a field related to exercise science or sports medicine and presently be completing a program of residency or post-doctoral fellowship.

• Student: Shall be a full-time undergraduate student or a graduate student carrying at least a half-time load, in a field related to exercise science or sports medicine.
