Dr. Campoverde’s Retirement

Dr. Cecilia Campoverde is retiring at the end of the Spring 2008 semester.  For those of you who are not familiar with Dr. Campoverde, she is best known around FAU for teaching social policy, research, practice, and social justice, as well as for helping to build community in the town of El Triumfo following the devastation left by Hurricane Mitch. Dr. Campoverde is moving to Guatemala, leaving her FAU position, but continuing her commitment and work for social and economic justice.   To honor Dr. Campoverde with support for her wonderful work in international community development please consider donating online at www.guatemalanproject.com.
