7:15PM - Finally I can get to my food!

After numerous reschedulings due to Hurricanes Francis and Jeanne, and despite a last minute glitch in which our event caterer not only left town but apparently took our dinners with them, John Dellagloria finally took the speaker’s podium on September 29th.

It was worth the wait: addressing a full-house Mr. Dellagloria kept everyone in their seats literally until evening classes began at 7PM.

North Miami ’s innovative CRA plan was met with equal parts amazement, cynicism and adulation. This only added to the excitement of the event and although the audience was divided on what they thought about on the plan, nobody -and I mean nobody- was bored!

FAU Alum, BAPA representative and Longtime FAPS member Renée Miller joined us for the lecture as well. It was great to see her. The list of FAPS friends is growing.

This year’s debut lecture has raised the bar yet again – it makes Octobers lecture that much more interesting: the guest? None other than FAU President Frank Brogan.
