Application
If you have not already applied to FAU you should do so at least 2 months prior to desired entry date. The sooner you can apply the better. You do not have to wait until you are done with high school or community college to apply. Applications are available at http://www.fau.edu/academic/admissions/admissn.htm. Just click on undergraduate or graduate admissions to begin the process.
Transcripts
We encourage you to send transcripts even if you have not finished the current courses that you are enrolled in at other institutions. Be aware that you will have to send new transcripts once every thing has been completed. Also, be aware that you must send transcripts from each institution that you have attended even if one institution has another one listed. All transcripts must be sent.
Immunization
YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER WITHOUT IMMUNIZATION! This documentation is very important. A hold will remain on your registration until you submit proof of immunization. For more information please view the following site http://www.shs.fau.edu/.
Orientation
It is very important that you attend orientation. Orientation can answer many of your questions and you will have the opportunity to meet briefly with your advisor as well as register for courses providing all holds have been removed. Go to the orientation website for more information. If you choose to do virtual orientation you will need to then make an appointment with an advisor to remove your advising hold. Graduate students please check with the graduate academic advisor.
