FAU's Civic Engagement Week
  
Join It! was a celebration of civic engagement at Florida Atlantic University that coincided with the presidential primary debate at FAU Boca Raton. 

Join It! sought to:

• involve students and members of the community in the political process;
  

• facilitate and encourage voter registration;
  

• enhance student and community understanding of key issues relating to the 2008 election;
  

• nurture an appreciation of the broader electoral process. 

       

Organizers
Join it! was a volunteer effort involving students, faculty and staff from across the University and its seven campuses.  It was organized by:

• University Faculty Senate

• The Alan B. Larkin Symposium on the American Presidency

• Student Government Association

• The American Democracy Project

• Phi Alpha Theta (History Honor Society)

• FAU Center for Civic Engagement and Service
