CCJ Graduate Students attend Luncheon to Hear CIA Deputy Director

On March 29th, 2013, Criminology and Criminal Justice Masters students were given the opportunity to attend a luncheon hosted by the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches at the COHEN PAVILION at the KRAVIS CENTER to hear a presentation from Michael Morell acting deputy director of the CIA. Two students were given the chance to ask Mr. Morell prepared questions including: 1) According to CNN news, cyber threats are a constant, evolving threat to national security. Just last month (February 2013), President Obama issued an executive order to prevent cyber espionage against U.S. Federal Government agencies and businesses. In regards to protecting national security, do you feel this issue can be resolved? If so, what it the highest priority for the CIA's role in prevention? and 2) With the change in the nature of our enemies over the last few decades and the change in the role of the CIA, how does the CIA distinguish itself and its mission from the Department of Defense?
