FAU Email Policy

It is important that all students check their FAU e-mail account on at least a bi-weekly basis.  This e-mail account is the official method that FAU uses to communicate with students concerning financial obligations.  Users may receive support by either submitting a ticket through the Online Computing Support Center, http://helpdesk.fau.edu or by calling: (561) 297-3999 or toll-free: (866) 885-8325.

Important Reminder :   Many people in the FAU community have forwarded their FAU e-mail to a personal e-mail account and as a result they have noticed that they are not receiving all of the FAU mail or that it is delayed.  FAU is now using e-mail for much of its communication, such as student bills, financial aid disbursements, and emergency notices.  FAU recommends that you do not forward your FAU e-mail to a personal e-mail account.  If an e-mail gets lost, it will not be able to be retrieved .
