Altony Lee Named to
CASE District III Board of
Directors
BOCA RATON, FL (January 5, 2006) -
Altony "Tony" Lee III, assistant director of Annual
Giving for Florida Atlantic University, has been
named to the Council for Advancement and Support of
Education (CASE) District III Board of Directors.
As a member of the board, Lee will co-chair the
Association for Student Alumni Programs (ASAP). A
professional organization for advancement
professionals who work in alumni relations,
communications, development and advancement
services, CASE is comprised of eight districts
worldwide. Case District III represents 540
institutions and 4,200 professional members from
the Southeastern United States.
Lee has been a part of the FAU Foundation,
Inc., since 2002. In his current position with
University Advancement, he is responsible for all
facets of annual giving operations. He led two
faculty and staff campaigns that produced an
increase in donor participation and annual gifts.
Lee has also launched an online giving program, and
as director of tele-fundraising campaigns, he
supervises a staff of 16 student callers. His
training course for student callers has resulted in
improved productivity and performance
A graduate of Florida State University, Lee
holds a bachelor's degree in political science. He
is a member of the FAU Owl Club and First Baptist
Church of Boca Raton. Lee is a resident of
Deerfield Beach, FL.
