University Club Holds Annual
Holiday Reception at
FAU's Baldwin House
Club Kicks Off 30th Anniversary
Celebration
BOCA RATON, FL (December 19, 2005)
- The University Club of the Florida
Atlantic University Foundation held its annual
holiday party at the Eleanor R. Baldwin House on
the Boca Raton campus. Hosted by FAU President and
Mrs. Frank T. Brogan, the event brought together
close to 100 members and friends of the University
Club for an evening of dinner and dancing.
The University Club, soon to celebrate its
30-year milestone, is a major fundraising
organization of the FAU Foundation. In celebration
of its impending anniversary year, a large cake was
presented to University Club President Alene
Brewer, past presidents Regina Vetto, Sarah Bialy
and one of the club's founding members Ruth Crabb.
Music provided by Sasha added a lively touch to the
event.
On March 21, 2006 beginning at 6:30 p.m.,
the University Club will be sponsoring New York!
New York! This black-tie optional dinner dance and
auction, to be held at the Royal Fiesta Ballroom in
Deerfield Beach, will support scholarships and
benefit FAU Libraries. Musical entertainment will
be provided by artists Tony Mariano and Barbara
Noel. Television personality and philanthropist
Bess Myerson will serve as the evening's honorary
chair.
