FAU National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Audiology Laboratory Offer Free Hearing Screenings
BOCA RATON, FL (October 21, 2005) - FAU's NSSLHA and the Audiology Laboratory will be offering free hearing screenings to the public on Friday, October 28 between the hours of 9 a.m. - noon on the fourth floor of the College of Education building at the Communication Disorders Clinic, FAU's Boca Raton campus. No appointments are necessary. Free parking is available during the event.
Hearing screening tests provide a quick way to detect hearing loss. Those who pass a hearing screening are presumed to have no hearing loss. Those who do not pass are in need of an in-depth evaluation by an audiologist and may also need follow-up care from other professionals.
For more information, visit http://www.coe.fau.edu/csd/tinnitus.htm or send an email to tinnitus@fau.edu or call the Communication Disorders Clinic at 561-297-2258.
