FAU to Host Free Hearing Screenings


WHAT: The FAU National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (FAU NSSLHA) will be offering free hearing screenings to the public.

WHEN: Thursday, May 26, 2005
9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

COST: Free and open to the public

DESCRIPTION: No appointments are necessary. Hearing screening tests provide a quick way to detect hearing loss. The tests are in conjunction with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's "Better Hearing and Speech Month." An estimated 28 million Americans who have hearing loss can be treated.
