Swing into Spring with the
Pine Jog Environmental Education Center
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (April 5, 2005) - Florida Atlantic University President Frank T. Brogan and Michael L. Davis, Pine Jog Environmental Education Center Board Chair, will host the Pine Jog Spring Swing, a fundraising gala, at The Harriet in the heart of CityPlace on Saturday, April 16 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy dinner, bid on a variety of live and silent auction items, and swing dance to 1940's jazz music provided by the Wonderland Jazz Band. Ric Blackwell, WPEC TV12's daytime news anchor, is the Master of Ceremonies.
Proceeds from the event will support Pine Jog's environmental education programs that reach approximately 40,000 children, adults and teachers each year at the 150-acre nature preserve located in West Palm Beach.
