BankAtlantic Presents $100,000 Check to FAU
BOCA RATON, FL (April 14, 2005) - A check presentation ceremony at Florida Atlantic University recently brought together leading representatives from FAU and BankAtlantic.
Supporters of FAU athletics and scholarship programs since 1997, BankAtlantic invested in FAU's future with a $100,000 check to help meet the greatest needs of the university.
"We are delighted to support FAU in its work educating students of all ages," said BankAtlantic CEO Alan Levan. "As we renew this partnership, we recognize FAU for all its accomplishments and gladly reinvest in its future."
Joining President Frank T. Brogan '81 and Alan B. Levan for the ceremony were Kenneth Jessell, vice president for financial affairs; Dennis Crudele, associate vice president for financial affairs; Dee Robinson, associate vice president, university advancement; and from BankAtlantic, Ned Shandloff, office of the chairman; Steve Hood, senior vice president, regional market manager; Nancy Robin '84, president, Palm Beach/Treasure Coast; Mark Sollenberger, market manager, FAU branch; Christy Zuluaga, customer service manager, FAU branch; and "7," BankAtlantic's mascot. Robin, a graduate of FAU, class of 1984, began her professional affiliation with BankAtlantic as part of a cooperative program sponsored by FAU.
"Bank Atlantic has been very gracious in helping FAU get to the next level," said President Brogan. "We are very glad to have them as a partner."
