FAU Potters' Guild Artists Visit Boynton Beach Elementary School
BOCA RATON, FL (November 5, 2004) - Ceramic artists from Florida Atlantic University's Potters' Guild recently visited St. Mark Catholic School in Boynton Beach. The artists demonstrated the pottery techniques of handbuilding and wheel throwing. This is part of the FAU Potters' Guild community outreach project.
The Guild wants to introduce its art and craft to the surrounding community, especially school-aged children. The visit was sponsored by FAU's Potters' Guild and the Department of Visual Arts and Art History. For more information about the Potters' Guild, please call 561-297-3870.
