BOCA RATON, FL (November 9, 2004) - Florida Atlantic University's National Alumni Association and FAU's Student Government Homecoming Committee will host the ninth Talon Leadership Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, November 10 at 6:30 pm in the Lifelong Learning Center Auditorium on FAU's Boca Raton Campus, 777 Glades Road. A reception will immediately follow the awards ceremony at FAU's University Center Outdoor Stage.

Celebrating excellence, this event, which is part of FAU Homecoming 2004, recognizes individuals who are outstanding community, alumni, faculty and student leaders. The 2004 Alumni Talon Award winner is Christopher Pollock '78, '81, president and CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. This year's President's Talon Award will be presented to Florida Senator Ron Klein and Florida Senator Ken Pruitt. Awards will also be given to outstanding faculty and students.
