FAU Hosts Information Session for Masters of Health Administration Program
BOCA RATON, FL (October 11, 2004) - Florida Atlantic University will host an information session on Saturday, November 6 at 10 a.m. in FAU's Administration Building on the Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road for individuals interested in obtaining a Master of Health Administration degree.
The Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree is designed to provide graduate-level training for professionals who are presently employed or who intend to pursue a career in health administration. The program is also intended for clinically-trained supervisors and managers such as nurses, physicians and physical therapists, who are seeking management education to advance their careers or to enhance their knowledge of the business of health care.
The MHA curriculum teaches skills reflecting the latest advances in management and health care theory and practice, including health care management, patient demographics, leading health concerns, health law, health care systems, health care finance and health research, among other related topics in health care.
