DESCRIPTION: Richard Holbrooke's distinguished career includes service as United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Chief Negotiator on the Bosnian War and the Dayton Peace Accords, U.S. Ambassador to Germany, Assistant Secretary of State, Peace Corps Director in Morocco, Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, member of the American Delegation to the Paris Peace Talks on Vietnam and author of To End A War. Ambassador Holbrooke is a graduate from Brown University.

The lecture is presented by the Peace Studies program in FAU's Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters.
