FAU to Offer Course in Digital Photography

BOCA RATON, FL (March 18, 2004) - Florida Atlantic University is offering a new professional training program in digital photography and post image processing. The course starts Monday, March 22 from 7-10 p.m. on the Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road, in the College of Education building, third floor. The program runs for eight weeks.

Classes are taught at FAU’s College of Education Technology Complex a modern, fully equipped, computer lab with projection equipment for easy to understand step-by-step instruction and demonstration of key post-imaging techniques. Adjunct Professor James Wilson, who authored the lab manual, “Principles of Digital Imaging and Post Image Processing,” will teach this new series of classes. Wilson has more than 25 years of professional imaging experience, including coverage of several presidential inaugurations, engagements held at the United States Congress and the United States Supreme Court and has been actively taking digital images of many FAU athletic and campus events.
