FAU Hosts Woodwind Quintet Concert
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL (March 9, 2004) -
The Florida Woodwind
Quintet-in-residence at Florida Atlantic University
will perform at the FAU Treasure Coast Campus on
Saturday, March 20 at 7 p.m. A pre-concert reception
will be hosted at 6:30 p.m. The performance is part
of the Spring 2004 Lifelong Learning Concert and
Lecture Series held at the campus in St. Lucie West.
The Woodwind Quintet is an
ensemble of five FAU faculty members who play the
flute, obo, clarinet, horn and bassoon. The quintet
members also perform with some of the state's most
well-known groups including the Florida Grand Opera,
Symphony of the Americas and the Atlantic Classical
Orchestra.
