FAU Sets Sight on Florida's
Capitol

Florida Atlantic University's
president, Board of Trustee members, staff, alumni and
students will embark on Florida's capitol for "FAU Day"
on Wednesday, March 10 to reveal FAU's 2004 - 2005
legislative priorities. FAU's legislative request
includes:
Board of Governors Enrollment
Growth Budget Request - $82,800,000
Board of Governors Matching Gift Program
Budget Request - $60,000,000
Partnership for Quality Medical Education (FAU
and UM) - $2,500,000
Considering and Passing of a New State Funding
Formula
Treasure Coast Expansion - $36,000,000
Davie Classroom Facility - $22,000,000
