Congressman Mark Foley to Address
FAU Honors College

JUPITER, FL (October 23, 2003) - Congressman Mark Foley will serve as keynote speaker at Florida Atlantic University's Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College Named Scholar Recognition Ceremony on Friday, October 24 at 1 p.m. in the MacArthur Auditorium, 5353 Parkside Drive, Jupiter. Foley will speak on investing in the future of education in Florida. The event is free and open to the public.

"The Named Scholar Recognition Ceremony provides contributors the opportunity to meet students they assist through their generosity to our endowed scholarship program," said Dr. William Mech, dean of the Wilkes Honors College. "As part of our Speakers Forum series, Congressman Foley brings a national perspective to local issues."

Reservations for the ceremony are suggested, as seating is limited. A reception in the Wilkes Honors College Atrium follows the ceremony.
