FAU's Honors College Receives $10,000 Scholarship Grant from Wachovia
JUPITER, FL (August 22, 2003) - Florida Atlantic University received a $10,000 grant from Wachovia Bank to establish a general scholarship fund for the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College.
"Wachovia is committed to strengthening our partnership with our community," said Harry W. Weede, Jr., Palm Beach County Regional President for Wachovia Bank, N.A. "By supporting the Wilkes Honors College at FAU, Wachovia can help the college achieve its mission to foster the intellectual growth and leadership development of Florida's academically gifted students."
The Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, located on FAU's John D. MacArthur Campus, is a small four-year residential liberal arts & science college with highly selective admissions criteria.
