Florida Atlantic University Names New Director
For Student Counseling Center

BOCA RATON, FL (July 31, 2003) - Dr. David L. Wallace has been named director of Florida Atlantic University's Student Counseling Center.

Wallace will be responsible for the administration and coordination of the resources and activities of the center. This includes strategic planning and goal setting, identification and attainment of service objectives, resource allocation, program and services evaluation, counseling, psychotherapy, outreach, consultation, and preventive mental health activities.

Wallace previously worked for six years at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the university's counseling center.
