UNIVERSITY CLUB HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING, ELECTS OFFICERS
The University Club of the Florida Atlantic University Foundation held its annual meeting and installation of officers for 2003/2004 on April 24 at Brooks Restaurant in Deerfield Beach. FAU president Frank T. Brogan attended the event.
Alene Brewer, who formerly served as treasurer, is the new University Club president. Other officers are Cecile Kramer, first vice president for programs; Gay Garlid, second vice president for ways and means; Lucy Turlington, third vice president for membership; Rhoda Holop, recording secretary; Claire Carney, corresponding secretary; and Barry Goldin, treasurer.
Membership in the University Club is open to all who would give of their time and talents in support of the University. Dues are $50 annually. Those interested in becoming members are encouraged to call Harriet Steffen at (561) 297-2137 for a brochure and application.
