FAU Launches New License Plate
BOCA RATON, FL (May 3, 2006) – Florida Atlantic University’s newly designed vehicle license plate is now available at all local tag agencies statewide, including in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, Martin and St. Lucie counties.
The redesigned plate is the latest item to be released since FAU made public its new logos last year. Proceeds from the plate directly benefit FAU’s scholarship fund, which has grossed more than $700,000 since the first license plate was introduced in 1987. Since then, more than 8,500 plates have been distributed statewide.
