The Marketing and Creative Services Department works closely with Information Resource Management (IRM) to design web templates for incorporation into the Content Management System (CMS). Together with IRM we:
- develop quality web-based communications that meet the needs of the diverse University community
- ensure FAU’s image is consistent across web and print
- work to develop a consistent web navigation experience for all users of the site
1. Marketing and Creative Services will work with each University division/department to design templates that are effective for the respective areas.
2. Once approved by the division/department, Marketing and Creative Services will provide the templates in html format to IRM.
3. The division/department personnel receive training in CMS and begin transitioning content into the CMS system using the newly designed templates.
4. If future design changes are needed, Marketing and Creative Services will revise the templates as needed.
Online Communications
Marketing and Creative Services can assist with producing other forms of online communications. We can design, program and even distribute HTML e-mails, online/e-mail newsletters, advertisements and web graphics.
