Let’s eat! — The next time that familiar hue and cry goes out, why not consider dining “in” at one of the many on-campus food venues?
From All-American fast food to international cuisine and all the snacks in-between, FAU dining services offers something for every hungry employee who appreciates good food at affordable prices. Dining “in” on campus can also save time, avoid city traffic congestion or simply offer an appetizing change from brown-bagging it. Here’s what’s served up at each campus:

Boca Raton
Conveniently situated in the center of campus, the popular Breezeway Food Court recently reopened with a new look. Rather than the traditional cafeteria line, diners have a choice of an interesting mix of food vendors to satisfy any taste. Vendors include Wendy’s, Chick-N-Grill, Mamma Leone’s, Quizno’s Subs, Salsarita’s, Jow Jing/ Olo Sushi and Outtakes for those grab-and-go items. Located just off the Breezeway are Einstein Bros. Bagels and Starbucks.
On the west side of campus, adjacent to the Student Union, is the Centre Marketplace (our all you care to eat venue), which has been expanded to accommodate the growing University community, and has added a new bakery. A wide variety of hot and cold meals, drinks, fresh breads, pastries, fruit and salad is offered. All resident students are required to use this dining hall, however, it is also popular with commuter students, faculty, staff and visitors. Employees may also purchase meal plans via payroll deduction.
Other on-campus dining facilities include The Hub in the Hillel Center, which features a variety of kosher foods; Coyote Jack’s, with a southwestern flavor, in the Student Union; and several Outtakes convenience stores, including a kiosk in the Sean Stein Pavilion of the Barry Kaye College of Business. (See column at right for additional Outtakes locations.) For more information about Boca Raton campus dining facilities, visit www.fau.edu/dining.
Davie
Davie students and employees are served by Steve’s Expresso, which offers hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, hamburgers, pizza, salads, snacks and beverages. Currently located on the first floor of the Liberal Arts building, the restaurant will relocate to the Student Union when it opens in January.
Fort Lauderdale
Steve’s Espresso also serves the University Tower community in facilities located in the lobby of BCC Building 31.
Jupiter
The recently renovated Dining Hall on the northern end of the campus offers full service “all you can eat” meals for one price, and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. An Outtakes convenience store is located in The Burrow on the first floor of the Student Resources building and features soups, salads, sandwiches, coffee, snacks and various sundries.
Treasure Coast
On the Treasure Coast campus, a non-traditional Subway offers its regular fare of sub sandwiches along with pizza and fries.
Bon Appetit!
