Professional Mentor Program


FAU alumni who are 3 years post-graduation and/or friends of the university, we invite you to submit your profile to join OWL CareerLink, a database of volunteers willing to provide career advice and information on industry trends to current students to assist them in their career development.

HOW DO I VOLUNTEER?
Create a mentor account in OWL CareerLink so students can contact you by email or phone.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
The program is available to all FAU degree seeking students and registered alumni. Students will contact you directly. You may choose to:

  • Conduct Informational Interviews

  • Conduct Mock Interviews

  • Job Shadowing Opportunities

  • Participate in Career Events

  • Present Career Related Workshop

  • Provide Resume/Cover Letter Critiques

  • Sponsor Co-op/Internship Opportunities
