Employer Registration Process:

   1. Description

      The Career Day & Technical Fair is a job fair for full-time, co-op, and internship opportunities in all fields including accounting, banking, government, human services, management, retail, sales, education, science, health care, information systems, engineering, and computer science.

   2. Schedule

      8:30 am - 10 am	Employer Check-In - FAU Arena Lobby Employer Continental Breakfast - 2nd Floor Arena
      10 am - 3 pm	Career Day Opens to Job Seekers
      12 pm - 2 pm	Employer Lunch - 2nd Floor Arena

   3. Pre-registration

      The pre-registration deadline is Friday, January 11, 2013 at 5pm for this event. This is also the last day to cancel and receive a refund. A $50 late fee will be applied after the pre-registration deadline. Last day for Spring 2013 Career Day & Technical Fair registration is Friday, January 25, 2013 at 5pm.

   4. Registration Fee

      Registration fee is $550.00.
      Each registration includes:

      • 1 table (6 ft. x 3 ft.), 2 chairs, up to 2 representatives
      • Continental breakfast and full buffet luncheon
      • Bottled water
      • Free Wi-Fi
      • Parking
      • All displays must fit within the 6 ft. x 3 ft. table area.
      • OWL CareerLink online listing of your company name, position information, website and profile.
      • Use of OWL CareerLink (online job postings, on-campus recruiting interviews schedules, information sessions, interview room reservations).
      • Registration for up to 2 additional representatives per table may be purchased for an additional $30 each for a total up to 4 representatives per table, per organization.
      • For more than 4 representatives at a table, an additional table must be purchased for a $100 fee. This fee includes 1 additional table and 2 chairs only (for 2 reps). Representatives may be added for $30 each (includes the cost of parking, continental breakfast and buffet lunch).
      • Registration prior to Friday, January 11, 2013 guarantees inclusion in the Spring 2013 Career Day Employer Participant handout.

      
      
      

   5. Directions, Parking & Accomodations

      Directions to Florida Atlantic University - Boca Raton Campus Parking Lots #10, #12 and #14:

      • From the North: Take I-95 South
      • From the South: Take I-95 North
      • Exit off Glades Road and go east for 1.6 miles
      • Enter the 1st Entrance to FAU
      • To go to Lots #10, #12 and #14: Continue to proceed north on West University Drive and turn left on Volusia Street. Lot #12 and Lot #14 parking lots are behind the Arena.
      • Lot #10 is beside the Arena (Please see attached map).
      • Parking is limited after 10:00 am. Be sure to arrive early.
      • Please drop off your items at the FAU Arena
      • No parking permit will be necessary
      • No parking on grass (ticket will not be void)
      • The Career Development Center is not responsible for any parking citations that you receive while attending the event.

      Note:
      No trade show booth size displays allowed. Please put your company name on all display material. Company representatives should make arrangements for company displays to be picked up in the lobby of the FAU Arena. Please bring company invoices for return shipping.
      Important notice:
      The FAU Career Development Center cannot be held liable for damaged or missing boxes, displays, or any other packages that are shipped to or from the career fair. Please note ONLY displays with UPS can be picked up at the Arena. Any other method of shipping is your full responsibility.

   7. Career Day Advertisements / Sponsorship

      Showcase your organization by placing an ad in the Career Day Guide. The Career Day Guide is distributed to students, alumni, and faculty attending the Career Day. The deadline to submit artwork to be included in the Career Day Guide is Friday, January 11, 2013 at 5pm. Images submitted for the Career Day Guide must be 300 dpi and in the file format of JPG and emailed to Brian Montalvo at bmontal1@fau.edu.

   8. Payment

      Once you register in OWL CareerLink and your registration is approved, you will receive an approval package via email that contains your welcome email (logistics info, sponsorship info, and an invoice that contains a link to process your web check or credit card).

2. Policies
   
   Cancellations, No Shows, Refunds, & Payment Policies

   1. All fees and changes are due on or before the pre-registration deadline of Friday, January 11, 2013 at 5pm.

   2. Should you register, pay, and not show for Career Day, your registration fee will not be refunded. Please keep in mind there are other organizations desiring admission to the Career Day -- your no show may prohibit other organizations from participating. Additionally, should you register for the event and not pre-pay, and then do not show for the event, you will still be responsible for paying the registration fee.

   3. Any outstanding bills for previous Career Days will prevent participation in future Career Development Center sponsored events.

   4. Should you have to cancel your event registration, we will refund your registration fee, if you cancel on or before Friday, January 11, 2013 at 5pm. All cancellations must be received in writing. After that date, refunds will not be offered.

   5. A late registration fee of $50.00 will be applied on registrations received after the pre-registration deadline of Friday, January 11, 2013 at 5pm. Last day for Spring 2013 Career Day & Technical Fair registration is Friday, January 25, 2013 at 5pm.

   6. Registration is limited to 8 representatives maximum. If you are registering for more than 4 representatives, an additional table must be purchased (maximum 4 reps per table).

   7. In the event a Career Day must be canceled or the date re-scheduled, organizations that have already paid will have the option to receive a full refund or have the registration fee applied to the next scheduled Career Day.

   8. If space is available, same day registration may be accommodated.

   9. Recruiters may only identify and recruit candidates for employment and/or their academic programs. Recruiters may not sell their products/services or solicit future purchases of products/services.

   10. Employers must adhere to equal opportunity laws and principles for employment professionals as outlined in the National Association of Colleges & Employers "Principles for Professional Practice".

   11. The Career Development Center is not responsible for parking tickets and cannot waive or appeal them.

3. Registration
   
   In order to register for Career Day, your organization must have an account in OWL CareerLink. OWL CareerLink is the Career Development Center's online employment database.

   1. Log-in to an existing account.

      1. Login to OWL CareerLink with your assigned username and password.

      2. Click the Career Event menu and click [Register] under the action column. Select the event you wish to register for.

      3. After you complete the registration form, please allow us 3 business days to approve your registration. Once we approve your registration, we will email you the approval package for the event.

   2. Set up a new account.

      1. Register your organization by completing a company profile in OWL CareerLink.

      2. Review the Employer Recruitment Standards and Policies.

      3. Review the Third Party Employer Agreement.

      4. Specify the service(s) that you are interested in (you can select multiple services).

      5. After you finish creating your profile, click the register button and your company profile will be sent to us. Please allow up to 3 business days for us to approve your account.

      6. Once we approve your account you will be able to register for the Career Day events.

      7. To register for Career Day events, click the Career Event menu bar and click [Register] under the action column. Select the event you wish to register.

      8. After you complete the registration, please allow us 3 business days to approve the registration. Once we approve your registration, we will email you the approval package for the event.
