Vladimir Kulic collaborates on “The Architecture of Titoism”
Vladimir Kulic, assistant professor at FAU’s School of Architecture, in collaboration with Wolfgang Thaler, an architectural photographer from Vienna, received a grant of 9,000 Euros for a book project tentatively entitled “The Architecture of Titoism”. The grant was awarded by Erste Stiftung, a Viennese foundation that funds cultural and art projects in Central and Eastern Europe.
The project focuses on the architecture of socialist Yugoslavia, c.1945-80. The book will contain photographic and critical essays by Professor Kulic on 30 buildings from the region that he selected and Mr. Thaler photographed.
