The Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree program is designed to educate future planners capable of performing and improving the practice of comprehensive and current planning. The research, teaching, and service activities of the Department are guided by the values associated with growth management in a democratic society; the growing importance of high technology in providing assistance to decision makers; and the professional curriculum considerations articulated by the Planning Accreditation Board (PAB). The MURP is a 48-credit-hour program structured to be completed on either a full-time or part-time basis.
