FAPS Membership Goes International
When Nina Goeldner and Marco Wagenblast hosted FAPS member Lisa Lorbeck for her summer internship in Stuttgart Germany, little did they know that they would soon end up recruited as inaugural European members of the Florida Atlantic Planning Society.
President Lorbeck welcomes Marco into the FAPS family
Upon the completion of Lisa’s internship in Germany, she invited the gracious pair back for a vacation of Florida hospitality and sunshine. To Lisa’s surprise, they accepted and opted for a six-week stay.
On their second day in the States, they accompanied Lisa to the FAU clubfest at the Davie campus whereby they were so impressed by FAPS presentation and mission, they decided to sign up on the spot.
Marco and Nina study media production at the University of Applied Sciences in Stuttgart Germany and they have offered to assist in the preparation of FAPS promotional material. Upon their return, it is hoped that they will recruit new members and perhaps arrange future internships for FAU students.
