For Undergraduate Transfer Students
The College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST) is required for all students seeking their first bachelor degree. There are 4 sections to the CLAST; Reading, Writing, Essay and Math. This test is administered through the Office of Testing and Evaluation.
CLAST Exemption
You may become exempt from the class through courses that you have taken. You must have a 2.5 average in two classes that have been deemed equivalent to ENC1101 College Writing I and ENC1102 College Writing II to be exempt from the Reading, Writing and Essay sections.
