About CAUPA Photo

There are five academic units in CAUPA. The School of Architecture, the School of Public Administration, and the School of Urban and Regional Planning are headquartered in the FAU/BCC Higher Education Complex in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and the School of Social Work are headquartered on the Boca Raton campus. CAUPA faculty are also housed at the Jupiter and Davie campuses.

Bachelor's degrees in Architecture, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Public Management, and Urban and Regional Planning are offered by the College. Master's degrees in Criminology & Criminal Justice, Public Administration, and Urban and Regional Planning, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration are also offered by CAUPA. Many of the classes are offered in the evening so that people can increase their professional knowledge and credentials while maintaining their present employment in the community.

There are several Centers, Institutes, and Labs that are housed in the College of Architecture, Urban and Public Affairs: the Juvenile Justice Training Academy; and the Visual Planning Technology Lab. CAUPA's faculty and students are also involved with other research and service activities at FAU including the Anthony James Catanese Center for Urban & Environmental Solutions, and the FAU Florida Institute of Government.

CAUPA consists of faculty and staff members from many world-wide locations, and the diversity enhances the teaching, research, and service provided by CAUPA members. Faculty members continue to be honored with appointments to distinguished boards and task forces. More information about faculty and staff can be obtained in the Contacts Section.

Students from every walk of life are in the CAUPA programs. The number of students in both the undergraduate and graduate programs continues to grow. More student information can be obtained from the Prospective Students Section.
