Public Management



Public management involves the management of public services in federal, state, and local government. Public managers work in administrative positions such as city managers, municipal department directors in parks, recreation, streets, engineering, health and human services, growth planning, fire and police agencies. They also become legislators and commissioners representing municipalities in all areas of public policy.
