Personal Trainer Prep Course

FAU Campus Recreation and ACE Fitness have become educational partners in order to offer FAU students a Personal Trainer Prep Course.  The lecture-based classes will cover topics such as basic and functional anatomy, exercise physiology, program design principles, form technique instruction, client interaction, and more.  The practical classes will apply concepts covered in the lecture and serve to help prepare students to work one-on-one with clients.  The Personal Trainer Prep Course is intended for FAU students who are interested in becoming certified personal trainers for the Department of Campus Recreation.

Cost

The cost for this course is $20.00.  All class members are encouraged to buy the ACE textbook and study materials, and will be required to pay for the certification exam if they choose to take it.  All students of the ACE Personal Trainer Prep Course receive 20% off study materials, text, and exam fees. 

Registration

To register for the Personal Trainer Prep Course, stop by the membership office with your Owl Card.  Registration opens July 1, 2009 and closes Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Pre-Registration is required.
