Rec Memberships
Students - FREE
Campus Recreation facilities, services and programs are available to all FAU students during the semester for which they are registered. Facility access is granted beginning the first day of classes and continuing until the day before classes begin the following semester. Students qualify for this access by paying the required activity and service fees as part of their tuition.
Faculty, Staff & Retirees ($45 per semester; $125 for calendar year)
Faculty, AMP, SP, Temporary staff and Retirees are welcome to purchase a Recreation Membership. FAU employment status or history will be verified. *Faculty (12 month contracts) and staff may use payroll deduction as method of payment and save...only pay $9 per month.
Stop-Out Students ($45 Per Semester)
FAU students taking a single semester off from their studies are welcome to purchase a Campus Recreation Membership. Stop-out Students may purchase a Recreation Membership for no more than one semester after the most recent semester of enrollment.
Alumni and Lifelong Learning Students - ($75 per semester; $200 for calendar year)
FAU alumni are welcome to purchase a Recreation Membership. Alumni must provide proof of status (diploma or transcript) when purchasing memberships. Lifelong Learning students must be listed on official class roster provided by the Lifelong Learning Professional Development office.
Spouses (Student, Faculty & Staff, Retiree, Alumni) - ($75 per semester; $200 for calendar year)
Adults (18+ years of age) married to members from groups above are eligible to purchase a Recreation Membership. Qualifying member must present proof of residency with spouse at the time of purchase. There are no provisions for dependent memberships.
Day Memberships - $5 per day
Day Memberships are available for guests of any of the above mentioned categories for $5 per day. The sponsor is responsible for his or her guest while using Campus Recreation facilities and programs.
How to become a Rec Member?
Memberships are available for purchase in the Campus Rec Administrative Office between 9:00am and 5:00pm, cash or check only.
