Recruitment Sessions
Each semester we look for friendly, hard-working students with initiative who enjoy interacting with students, faculty and staff in a positive way. The Department of Campus Recreation typically hires to fill the following positions throughout each year:
- Fitness Center Staff
- Rec Desk Staff
- Intramural Sports Official
- Group Fitness Instructor
- Lifeguard
- Personal Trainer
- Maintenance Staff
- Graphic Artist
To be considered for one or more of the positions, you must attend one of the following Campus Recreation Employee Recruitment Sessions:
Fall 2009
- Monday, November 9, 2009
- Tuesday, November 10, 2009
Spring 2010
- Wednesday, April 7, 2010
- Thursday, April 8, 2010
Sessions will begin promptly at 6:45pm at the Alumni Center (located directly across from the Recreation & Fitness Center) unless otherwise noted above.
We require all Campus Recreation employees be dedicated to the following customer service principles:
- Engage members and guests at every opportunity
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude
- Pick-up trash throughout recreation facilities
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Take pride in quality
- Exceed the expectations of members and guests
Campus Recreation hires on a continual basis as needed, however the majority of our hiring will take place before finals in anticipation of the upcoming semester.
