How to Create a Club
1. Fill out the Intent to Organize Form AVAILABLE HERE and the Campus Recreation Administrative Offices. This form must be completed and submitted to the Coordinator of Sports and Competition.
2. The Club Sports Office will provide the applying club a second packet that must be returned to the Coordinator of Sports and Competition within six weeks.
3. Identify at least ten students interested in joining your organization.
4. Identify a faculty or staff member that will serve as an advisor to your club.
5. Complete the petition for Official Registration Form and Club Constitution and return to Coordinator of Sports and Competition within six weeks.
6. Approval process takes place within the Department of Campus Recreation, Student Development and Activities and Student Government.
7. Once approved, a meeting will be scheduled with the club officer(s), faculty/staff advisor, and Coordinator of Sports and Competition. The purpose of the meeting is to review the University, Department of Campus Recreation and Club Sports policies and procedures.
Be sure to re-register your club once a year, by the 2nd Friday in September in order to keep your club in good standing.
