Sarah was hired in Oct. 2012 as the Assistant Director for Outdoor Adventures. Some of her responsibilities include oversee the outdoor trip program, the challenge course, rental program, and training of trip leaders.
 
She began her career in outdoor education in 2008 working for Outward Bound. That experience led to opportunities leading expeditions canoeing in the Florida Everglades, sailing in Maine and Florida, and backpacking sections of Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina. She is a Wilderness First Responder and has a U.S. Coast Guard master’s license. Sarah is also a Leave No Trace Master Educator.

She received her undergraduate at Stetson University and her first Master’s degree at Rollins College. In May of 2012 she graduated from Georgia College and State University with a M.Ed. in Kinesiology: Outdoor Education Administration.
