Vending Services
Florida Atlantic University operates a variety of vending machines at locations throughout the FAU campuses. Machine types include carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, milk, snacks, frozen / microwave foods and ice cream. Depending upon the machine type and location, purchases can be initiated by coins, paper currency or OWL Card with established vending account balances.
Business Services is responsible for the management of both the soft drink and snack food contracts and the revenues that they generate. Additionally, Business Services is responsible for managing both the product donation requests as well as marketing requests that are received from University Departments, Clubs and Organizations and Athletics.
The vending program currently consists of nearly 180 vending machines on seven campuses. There are 31 vending areas on the Boca Raton Campus. Commissions received by FAU are used to assist in the funding of university programs and activities.
By using your Owl Card funds to make vending purchases, discounts for certain products will apply.
