FAU's
Davie and Fort Lauderdale Campuses have been working in
partnership with Broward College and the City of Fort
Lauderdale to implement a full scale recycling
program.
On the Fort Lauderdale Campus, the number of trash dumpster pickups has been cut in half through paper and cardboard recycling. As of November 1, 2008, the Davie Campus will
also add paper recycling to its efforts. We need your
participation to make FAU Broward more sustainable. Please do
your part and encourage others to participate. If you have

Mixed paper will be picked up weekly from a
white cardboard office receptacle or a blue plastic workroom
bin. Mixed paper includes:
Cardboard boxes can be left in the hall outside the office or workspace door for the custodial staff to collect them. For pickup of large amounts of cardboard, call 954-762-5040.
Toner and ink jet cartridges, drums, fusers, transfer kits and cell phones can be marked "recycle" and placed in campus outgoing mail for pickup. The rebate for these items goes to the Broward Vision Fund for scholarships. |
