Philip (Joo Hwa) Bay has been practicing architecture in the tropical and subtropical regions since 1986. He directed a 100-person practice, was a Council Member of the Singapore Institute of Architects, and has won several design awards. He received his PhD at the Technische Universiteit Delft (TUDelft) on the subject of design thinking in environmental architecture. Dr. Bay now resides in Perth, Western Australia.
