Angela DiCosola, Professor of Art in Ceramics, focuses her research and creative investigations in narrative sculptures that thematically references Western culture to contemplate gender specific behavioral traits and psychological states. She received her M.F.A. from University of Florida and her BA in Painting/Drawing and a B.S. in Biology from Stetson University. She was Resident Artist at the University of Miami before joining Florida Atlantic University. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions including NCECA National, Thomas FUNKe Gallery, Hardcore Art Contemporary Space in Miami, FL and the Living Room in the Miami Design District curated by Bernice Steinbaum. Her work resides in collections both public and private including Allan Chasanoff Collection, Mint Museum of Art, Jerome Shaw, and the City of Orlando.
