Professor McNutt holds an MFA in Acting from the Shakespeare Theatre Company/George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a BFA in Music Theatre from Florida State University.  A Florida native, Lynn has lived in New York City as a working actor for over fourteen years and Washington, D.C for three years.  A member of Actor’s Equity Association for over twenty three years, Lynn has worked under Production, Off-Broadway, National Touring, LORT, URTA, LOA, Dinner Theatre, SPT and Cruise Ship contracts.  Academically, Lynn has heldprofessorships at the University of Miami and Auburn University before coming to FAU.  At FAU she teaches Shakespeare, Acting and Music Theatre in the MFA and BFA professional training programs.
