WGSS hosted a panel presentation titled Indignities Around the World

The Advisory Board for FAU’s Center for Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies recently hosted a panel presentation titled “Indignities Around the World.” The event featured a keynote address by Margarette May Macaulay, Commissioner of the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights and former Judge of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights . Other panelists included former State Senator and Broward County Commissioner Nan Rich and Board President or the U.S. National Committee for UN Women, Lalita Janke.  All proceeds from the event will be used to fund students in the MA program for the Center for Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies  For more information about  the Center,  call 561-297-3865 or visit  www.fau.edu/wgss
